Guest Lecture

The Guest lecture was delivered by Dr. Anurag Saxena whose topic of presentation was “Recent advances in spinal surgery-Central India, where do we stand.” It was a very interesting talk and a thought provoking talk about how morbidity can be significantly decreased by minimally invasive procedures for spie surgery. He showed in detail the various cases performed and the postoperative results were comparable to open surgery and with a significant decreased morbidity and early return to work. The presentation was appreciated by all members of the society and he was felicitated by Dr. Dilip Acharya.
