Dr. Anurag Saxena, a senior neurosurgeon, proudly leads the Department of Neurosurgery at Manipal Hospital, Dwarka, Delhi NCR. With extensive experience both on national and international fronts, he's a beacon of expertise in the realms of brain, spine, and peripheral nerve surgeries.

His illustrious academic journey commenced with an MBBS (Gold medalist) from MGM Medical College, Indore, followed by an MS (General Surgery) from the same institution and MY Hospital, Indore. Advancing his academic pursuits, he acquired an MCh Neurosurgery from the esteemed GB Pant Hospital, Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi.

To further refine his skills, Dr. Saxena ventured to the United Kingdom, where he completed fellowships in spinal surgery and paediatric neurosurgery. His dedication and proficiency in the field were recognized and honored with the FRCS in neurosurgery by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK.

Dr. Saxena's vast expertise encompasses areas like minimally invasive spinal and brain surgeries, intricate spinal procedures, endoscopic brain operations, onco-neurosurgery, and paediatric neurosurgery. He has been at the forefront of introducing cutting-edge, minimally invasive complex spinal surgery techniques to Delhi NCR.

His relentless dedication manifests in the world-class treatment and care he offers to his patients. Guest Lecture

The Guest lecture was delivered by Dr. Anurag Saxena whose topic of presentation was “Recent advances in spinal surgery-Central India, where do we stand.” It was a very interesting talk and a thought provoking talk about how morbidity can be significantly decreased by minimally invasive procedures for spie surgery. He showed in detail the various cases performed and the postoperative results were comparable to open surgery and with a significant decreased morbidity and early return to work. The presentation was appreciated by all members of the society and he was felicitated by Dr. Dilip Acharya.
